This seam is where the rubber windshield gasket is pressed on to. I'm curious if anyone has ever reconstructed this piece or if, like most of the other sheet metal pieces, someone sells it. If not, I may wind up trying to make a piece out of several pieces. Advice please! | | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | there are no patches available for that area

Wonder why that one got left out? I guess I get to figure out how to fabricate it. | | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 2,644 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 2,644 | Post an ad in the Truck Parts Wanted, you might get lucky and someone will cut the section out of a junker for you... happens all the time. | | | | Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 150 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 150 | Thanks. I think I may, and I stress may, be able to construct the part. I do build models from time to time and I can get very detailed I just hope I can translate that to a larger, functional scale. | | |
