There's a piece of metal, used as a filler, at the front of the cab, between the inner and outer roof panels that also forms part of the seam. This seam is where the rubber windshield gasket is pressed on to. I'm curious if anyone has ever reconstructed this piece or if, like most of the other sheet metal pieces, someone sells it. If not, I may wind up trying to make a piece out of several pieces. Advice please!

Thanks! I knew someone was going to say that. I was hoping there would be. Wonder why that one got left out? I guess I get to figure out how to fabricate it.

Post an ad in the Truck Parts Wanted, you might get lucky and someone will cut the section out of a junker for you... happens all the time.

Thanks. I think I may, and I stress may, be able to construct the part. I do build models from time to time and I can get very detailed I just hope I can translate that to a larger, functional scale.
