so i found this on the firewall on my 49' burb but i have yet to find out what it is,,, can you help????? thank you

appears to be a pressure or vacuum pump ohwell what does the line thru the firewall go to?

maybe it primes for the vac. motor before you start up the motor? You really need to find where the line goes on the inside of the cab and let us know. It is obvious that you can only pump it when not driving

Ok guys so i finally went out to trace the line going thru the fire wall and found its only about 8 images long and leads to nothing. . Its actually the same size/style tube as whats on the engine primer pump mounted in the dash. I have never seen one like it before so im guessing i can dump it and do without? Anyone ever seen one like it before??
