Under the hood where the shifter linkage meets from the column and the transmission I am missing a piece or either it is unhooked. Can someone send me a picture of there's that way I can see what may be going on with mine?

Ha sorry guys. brain fart there. You cant really help if you dont know what I have. 1952 chevrolet 3600. And for the woa and the go. The brakes Im tinkering on now. And the shift linkage deal will make pushing and loading the truck easier. Im in between shops at the moment.

That Factory Assembly Manual is of a 1954/55 3-speed linkage. The linkage rods are different than on the earlier 3-speed trucks (I think).

I think there are 3 rods in earlier years; and there are four rods in 54/55?

Someone with a pre-54 linkage, please confirm or correct.

I suspect you are missing a 10 inch or so section of linkage that goes from a piviot point on the bell housing to the transmission. If you ger bogged down call me 651-426-3680. I do not get on the forum too often.

Nice truck DADS50. Looks awesome. According to your pics Im not missing anything at all. One of the rods is just disconnected. How did you A/C system turn out? I have been wondering how those kits do.

Those pics are from a web site I have bookmarked in my favorites. I think that guy is a builder and did a great job on that Green truck.

My truck is the blue on in the sig line.

Unfortunately I didn’t take a ton of pics before I started working on my truck so I have a saved Many web site for reference.

Denny Graham's Web site has one of the best set of pics for a AD truck. A lot of the guys on this forum have good web sites with tons of pics.

I did purchase a factory assembly manual and the Truck shop manual. But sometimes you just need to see a picture

I was getting ready to reattach the linkage under the hood for the shifter today. The two rods that come off the column and attach to the rods to the transmission are twisted. I hooked them up anyway. Is this going to cause a problem?
