For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 10 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 10 | I have a 54 3600 chevy P/U. I am looking for pictures of the rear bed. I know it has wood floors but there is a top ledge along the two side walls that are a 2x8 that run the full length of the truck. Are these suppose to be there, or were they an add-on? How do I get them off? The are bolted to the top rail, but the bolts are to close to the roll part of the rail for me to get any tool on them. Anyone have any suggestions other than cutting the bolts off? Pat M.
