I know this isn't a new question, but it seems that no one has really answered the question, yet... I have a 41 1.5 ton stake side truck. Finding most brake parts has been pretty easy, Thanks Jim Carter!!!, chevsofthe40s not so much. Anyway I still can't find parking brake cable that will fit the truck, I know that 39-46 1.5 ton and bigger will fit but I can't find them for any of those years. Anybody out there know where to get them of have any ideas???

Hotrod A,
Are your cables both missing? If you have one, or something left, you can get a vendor to replicate them for you. I had Inline Tubing duplicate the parking brake cables for my COE. They did them in stainless, which should be more resistent to corrosion than original style. They came with brand new rubber boots. Kind of pricey ($90 for both), but at least I have them now.

I have a few bits and pieces from each left, enough to get measurements from. Thanks for the idea, you're right $90 isn't cheap, but its worth it to finish up the brakes.

Lightholder's Dad, I just took a look at Inline Tubing, good call, looks like the way to go, I'll give them a call later today. Thank you again for the advice!
