Will the hood from a 1935 truck with 4 vertical louvers fit on my 1936 truck. The correct hood for 1936 should have 2 horizontal louvers. Thanks for the help

I must ask, Is your 1936 a high or low cab?
high cab being the earlier and having three door hinges per door and low cab having two hinges per door. If it is a high cab I think it should fit.I might have to see if I can find a sample of each to check for sure.

My truck is a low cab with the 2 door hinges. I have the top of the hood but no side panels and I would like to enclose the motor again. Thanks.

I found a hood and side panels from a '34-'35 truck and will use them until I can find the 1936 model. Thanks for the help.

I received the hood from the '34-'35 Chevrolet truck. It fits lengthwise (cowl to radiator shell) The side panels are the correct length at the cowl (up & down) but the front edge of the side panels are about 1/1/2" too short. So, guess I'll keep looking for the correct '36 hood or just the side panels.
