I am just getting started on my 56 and being in Sin City where things seem to vanish quite often so I am doing the alarm thing and would like to use the lock feature if possible.
Does anyone know if it is possible to do power door locks while keeping the stock door handles in and out?

Yes you can its just a solenoid to move the locks .Check hot rod kits .
