If it is a brace,, what part of the side panel or support bracket for the spare tire does it go to? Anone have a photo to share if they have the same set up? Thanks!

If you don't like my carbon foot print, stick it up your Prius!! | | | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | "chassis sheet metal", sect 11, sheet 19 shows it - and I was off, the 3 brace bars go upward to the fender mounting bolts, I had the fleet bed in mind ... the side mount is shown as RPO341 - they don't show the fender, but I would think that front brace bar would have to move 1 fender bolt back to clear the fender dimple

This is where it gets weird though. I took the brace off of the passenger side (same location) and tried to mount it to the dimple side fender. It was not long enough to reach up to the fender bolt.
I will have a local guy make me a new brace..Can not find anyone with side mount fender with the orginal brace.
