Is pertronix the best upgrade for electronic ignition? is there another option to use a spin on oil filter? is the generator 6 volt or 12 volt? do i have to make my own alternator bracket? I love this truck!! 1960 shortbed fleetside with all of the original art deco chrome trim and it even has the jack under the seat. BONE STOCK! thanks in advance.

Can't help you with the oil filter or alternator bracket, but that generator should be okay for you unless you want to add a bunch of electronic accessories.(A plus is that they are simple to work on yourself and cheaper to fix than an alternator.) BTW, welcome to the site. Hopefully someone with more info will come along shortly to put you one the right track. | | |
