55 Chevy 1/2 ton frame.this pertains to the rear "spring perch to frame mount" rivit spacings center to center top and bottom.and same for rear spring shackel to frame mounting of rivits center to center top and bottom.

Hy Joezeiger, there are two distinctly different 55s, the 55"A" or first series which looks basically like the 48 - 54, and the 55"B" or second series which looks like the 56 - 59, could you tell us which one you're inquiring about please

Hi Joe,

Here are dimensions from my '55 second series 3200. At the rear springs the front perch bottom rivets are 4-5/8 inches center to center while the top ones are 4 inches. The rear shackle rivets are 2-1/16 inches on the bottom and the top are 4 inches. I took these measurements by holding a tape measure on the rivets in fading light so accuracy is probably plus or minus 1/16 inch. Does that serve you well enough?

Eileen,thanks for your help,also would you mind doing same for front axle perch and shackle dimensions?center to center on rivits.

You got it. Front springs rear perch top 3-1/2 inches bottom 4 inches center to center. Front shackle top and bottom the rivets are 2-5/8 inches center to center.
