Odometer still works fine so I know its not the cable. I have ordered a new speedo assembly, but it comes with the odometer set to all zeros. It's been a while sense I plaid with mine, but I had no problems presetting it before installing the actual odometer number/counter assembly.

If I were doing it again I'd take it apart and reassemble with the numbers I needed.
