I'm brand new to this site and am very excited to get started in sharing my recent project.

I spotted this truck in my home town a few years ago. The more time that went by the more I had to have this truck.

I knew that if I waited too long, i'd miss my chance so I contacted the owner and we settled on a price of $3000. This truck is solid and complete. I will post more pics as work progresses.

So far I've removed the bed and shortened it by two feet. I'm converting it to a dump bed as well.

I plan on painting it Sierra Gold and cream to match my brothers 57 Wagon.

Here is the truck as I found her.

Welcome, 57oneton. Looks like you did all right on that. Is it a 283?

No, it's a 235 which i plan on keeping in it. However, i want to dual exhaust it in the future.

I found my 57 1 ton in Walla Walla, Wa. Seems to be a few up there.
