Can I assume that these are suitable for tubeless tires?
Will they clear my disk brake calipers?
I'd like this question answered by anyone who has actually used, or tried to use, stock 16-inch rims with a disk brake conversion. My reason for this is because this subject has been discussed in the past but no definitive answer.

I have tubeless tires mounted on original '50 wheels. I cleaned them real good and they were rust free on the inside. They have been mounted now going on 2 years and only 1 of the 4 leaks at all. The one that does only looses a few psi's a month so not a big deal. We tried grinding the CCP caliper to clear the 15-inch wheel and it got VERY ugly before we gave up.  I'm trying to work a deal with the seller to ship me one to test. HERE is a photo that may help if you are trying to clear the CCP calipers. The top one doesn't clear and would require extensive grinding of the caliper. The bottom one clears if you cut the tabs as in the in the photo provided by cletus. Hope this helps anyone in the same predicament. | | |
