I need opinions from folks who have rewired their trucks and have had good results or not so good. Thanks.

One size doesn't fit all. What year are we talking about. The harness in my 38 was dirt simple.

Are you going stock or will you have AC, power this and that, boosted stereo, etc.?

In my '56 I used Hot Rod Wires 12 circuit harness . I'm so happy with it I bought another for my '54 GMC pickup.

I got the one for my 53 at Classic parts. It was a breeze to install other than under the dash,,,I hate working under the dash.
Of course the truck was only partially assembled and I went stock which makes it much simpler.

Installed the $149 harness from Classic Parts in my 48 3600.

I don't think it could have went any better. Every wire is numbered and can be referenced on the enclosed documentation.

I highly recommend it.

Ditto on the classic parts harness, I also added turn indicators and will add back ups when I find some I like.

I dug out a Classic Parts mag that I forgot about. Their harness prices look pretty good. I ordered a harness for my 65 chevy C10 parking/signal lights about a year ago. The harness that I recieved worked fine for the signal lights, but it didn't have the extra wire in it to run my parking lights alone. When I called them up, they said the harness that they sent me was the only one that they had for my model truck. My signal and parking lights are the same lights, mounted in the hood of my truck. I could not make the guy understand that my signal lights worked, but when I turn on the parking lights, they did not work, like I previously stated, the harness was missing one extra wire. I had to keep the harness so that I could get my truck inspected, I just don't have parking lights anymore. I kept my old harness so that I can get a duplicate made. I got the "no parking light harness" from American Classic truck parts out of Aubrey, Texas. They told me that I could send it back for a refund, but I kept it because I needed my signal lights. Thank all you guys for your input

You should be able to run one wire from prk light terminal to park light housings and have park lights.

84 sbc in 53 gmc orginal choke wire ran thu oil pressure sending uint. suggestionn to wire it

I installed the EZ Wire harness, adding AC, etc. (my truck is not original, it's a modified street rod).
