I have a tilt wheel column out of a 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Does anyone have a good tip on how to mount it in the truck? Are there adapters for it?

If you post some pictures, I can help you. OR you can send them to me: [email protected]. Make sure you take good pic and of the mounting bracket that is on the column. There are several ways to mount. You may have to make a piece. I have pics of a piece I made from the original bracket. Please state the year of truck. What kind of steering system are you attaching the column to? I assume you are going to put in some kind of power steering?

Thanks for the reply. I was out of the country for about a month and then really busy when I got back. I just saw the answer you gave to my question. I'll have to take some photos and send them.

The cab I have is a 1958 cab. I will attach the steering column to a 1973 Chevey Nova steering gear box. I have my truck sub-framed. I had the parts to connect the column to the steering gear box but they were stolen, as was the engine and transmission, by the mechanic I paid to install the parts. I'm about 10 years behind schedule.
