On a 46 Chevy 1/2 ton can some one tell me where the brake pedal return spring hooks?

Hy Monroe Mckill, welcome, the spring attaches to the clevice pin via a clip or tab which slips over the pin and is retained by the cotter pin at the bottom of the pedal, and to a clip or tab bolted to the left rear transmission shift tower retaing bolt, hope that helps.

Thank you. I have a truck that shows only 42000 miles and has not been run in a long time. I plan to grease it and go over it before I try to drive it. It is nearly a rust free truck and will make a nice one to drive. I may have to come back for a lot more help as I get farther along. Monroe
