I get two different part numbers,2g/2gv or 2g/2gc it's a Rochester. any help would great. was'nt sure if I should post this some where else. thanks Brett | | | | Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 Riding in the Passing Lane | Riding in the Passing Lane Joined: Jun 2004 Posts: 8,597 | The best way to ID the carb is the brass tag that is/was under one of the cover screws. Most of the time it is gone by know. The 2G is manual choke & the 2GC is auto choke. I don't know where the 2GV comes in. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. It shouldn't make any difference in a replacement or parts kit. Fred
