does anyone have any recommendations as to what oil should go in the transmission and rear end. I've heard newer oil contain additive that damage older transmissions and rear ends. True or False?

Hy Bakerallen, 80 - 90 wt. I believe was specified, hypoid lube, the higher the number the thicker when cold, most are multi weight now, hope that helps.
