I need to get a new tank to replace the rusted tank behind the seat. I'm looking for one to replace, without to much modifications. Has anyone purchased one that fits the original gas line correctly.

If you want one you better get it now, they only list two more in stock and Spectra doesn't even list it any more.

Just bought and installed a tank from LMC for a 58 1/2 ton. Everything fit very easily change. LMC cost $149.95. Tank for the pre 53 costs the same. I think the difference is the pre 53 has a gravity feed and the post 54 has a pickup tube as part of the fank unit and fits in the top.
