The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop HVLP question... what's causing this?

I just started using this gun to shoot primer and am having problems with paint building up on the tip. (PICTURE)

I've tried adjusting the air and fluid amounts with no success, but then I really don't know too much about these things.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

BTW, It's a Starting Line gun with a 1.8 tip. Oddly enough I never had this happen with my Harbor Freight HVLP gun.

I think You're going to need a smaller tip the paint or I should say the amount of paint is overwhelming the air flow.
