You will probably need a new clutch and pp because your spline will be 10 and the T5 is apt to be 14 or 26. My engine is a 1971, and except for the clutch and pp, and drive shaft length, an 87 Camaro T5 was a direct bolt in. The innards of these transmissions vary considerably. Go to britishv8 and mongosgarage websites for all the information about t5s. Make, year, and model of the donor vehicle is far less significant than the tag no. Also, you will need a trans with mechanical speedo, not electronic. I have a nice 1352-177 if you want. | | |
