I'm going to cut my own wood for my bed and know all of the dimensions for length, width and routered edges but can't seem to find specs for those holes with the offset counter bored recesses.

Where can I find this info?

Boy you guys are great. Of all the places I thought to look I never thought that a company who sells the very product I'm trying to duplicate would give out instructions on how to do it. Thank you.

I need an entire new bed for my truck and when I get to that part of the project you guys will be hearing from me.

Boy you got that right Woody. I've seen three of their complete beds installed recently and they look just like a brand new stock original bed and go together flawlessly. Lots of help on their site and they go way out of their way when it comes to information.
Also, "MADE IN AMERICA". I don’t know who started the company or who owns it now but I just hope that a son in-law or grandson doesn't take over the business one day and run it into the ground as I've seen happen to so many well run thriving companies. When you got a good thing going, you should leave it alone and not try to make it your own or change it.

Hey Mar-Ktech, I'd sure like to hear a little bit about Mar-K's history. In fact it might be something you might concider adding to your site, "About Us" sort of thing. Who started the business, is it privately owned? Do you just make automotive parts or does the company fabricate other items?
I find the real story behind Orange County Choppers intesting. Many people believed that the bikes were all they made and that was their mainstay. But in the begining before they became a TV wonder, their main business was steel fabrication and the bike thing was just a side thing for the old man. DG

Denny - from our website (thanks for asking!) :
MAR-K started 33 years ago in a garage when our owners were restoring an old Corvette. They couldn’t find the parts they needed so they started making them. Then they discovered that if Corvette parts were hard to find, old truck parts were nearly impossible. And MAR-K Specialized Manufacturing was born. From humble beginnings of a couple parts in a garage to a 2-building manufacturing facility making over 6000 parts, MAR-K has grown to be one of the country’s premier truck parts manufacturers.

What makes us different? MAR-K makes its parts in Oklahoma City, USA. We offer QUALITY parts built by Americans for old American-made trucks. That is hard to find these days, in a world of imports.

We strive to be the benchmark against which all other truck parts are compared, from our outstanding parts to our quality shipping practices. MAR-K parts are shipped to thousands of retail customers and 125 dealers all over the United States and Canada. Our ultimate goal is for every truck part sold to be a MAR-K part, whether we sell it or someone else does. We just know that MAR-K parts install, fit and are made better than any other parts out there - sometimes even better than the original.

For more information about MAR-K’s manufacturing facility, check out the article in the April 2009 issue of Custom Classic Trucks: http://www.customclassictrucks.com/hotnews/0904cct_mar_k_quality_parts/index.html
