If say it is 2.2 when you go by a marker & you go about 3 miles & it is 2.5 you are showing about 10% fast. Take the gear out & get one with more teeth.The opposite if its loosing speed. This works great on most of the auto trans. They have large gears. With the manual trans. you don,t get a whole lot to work with. You may have to get a ratio adapter.
