Along the front sides is a strip of rubber instead of lacing. Here is the front rubber. Here is the bottom attach point of the rear lace. Sorry I don't have pic showing the whole thing.

I just took off the front fenders and sent out to the body shop, no photos at this time. The point is that there was "original" welting on both fenders where the front of the hood would close against the upper fender sheet metal which goes "upwards" toward the radiator. I would guess these pieces are 4-6 inches long and are made of the exact hood lace material. Doug | | |
