I have a 1954 bel air rear end that had a 3 speed manual transmission. My first question is if anyone knows what the gearing ratio of these rear ends are. Secondly, would I be able to put the ring and pinion out of this rear end and install it in my 1/2 ton 49 chevy panel truck?

It won't fit.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
