He said he took out the original 216 a few years ago. I told him I'd never heard of a GMC coming from the factory with a 216 and he said his granddad bought it new in Greeley, CO and he still has the original paperwork on it that shows a 216 engine.
So my question is: Has anyone heard of this "economy option" (that's what he called it) and how many came that way? | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | Unless it's a Canadian truck, I call shennannigans. No 216s in US spec GMCs. I would say have him produce the "paperwork" that shows it as an option.
