on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2000 Posts: 800 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2000 Posts: 800 | I'd like to see if anyone has a torsion bar front suspension on their early burb etc. Does it have a sway bar? Can you post a pic of the attachment to the A arm? Is there a part number for that sway bar? My GMC parts book of the era does not show a "stabilizer bar" for the N series of trucks. (GMC code for 60-61) Aftermarket suppliers do not provide sway bars for the early torsion bar suspension trucks. Most burbs to thru '59 at least, had sway bars from the Factory. My 60 has holes in the A arm for a sway bar but it is a completely different mounting than the 63 and up trucks. Thanks for any info. | | |
