I have put in a replacement headliner in my 54 1/2 ton (2 piece) but messed up the cardboard and it doesn't look as good as I'd like. I want to find some black plastic that will bend and cut easily but will attach in one piece. I figure I can trace around my old one and cut it close to accurate. Any ideas where I can find the material in a 3 x 4 sheet? ... or other options.

TAP Plastics sells ABS plastic sheet with a textured finish. Cuts easily with a jigsaw. Edges can be sanded and heat polished (soft flame propane torch - avoid direct flame contact. ABS can be thermo-formed to fit contours.

try Quietride in California. They have a website. I got my '37 headliner there. It was well made formed plastic.

thanks for the suggestions. I was having a hell of a time finding ANY suitable material from plastics companies, art stores, big box stores, or upholstry shops - at any price - then went to a local craft chain called Michaels. Found a 3x5 roll of black plastic foam for about $7.00. Bought a few rolls and after some experimenting found that gluing two together gives it some stiffness and still shapes with heat gun.
