The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Paint and Body Shop door handles

I may have mixed up some parts from my door handles on the 54. The one with the key gets the short plunger for the drivers side and the one with the long plunger is the pass side , correct?

The outside key lock is in the
right hand push button,

thanks oilrag. But isn't it strange that you would have the key lock on the pass side? what am I missing here.

what you're missing is all the discussions here about the fact that the keyed handle was on the pass side only of all trucks until the 60's nobody has a certified answer as to why, but if ya don't like it you can get keyed handles for both sides
