hey its probibly something easy but it slips my mind. truck is starting hard and shutters and stumbles under load not just accelerating but also maintaining speed. at idle runs fin with the normal minor miss fire. i already did a complete tune up including cap, rotor, wires, plugs, and coil. having trouble finding points could that be it???

points and condensor usually are the cause

Points are available if you look around but I'm thinking vacuum advance. Did you check that? Perhaps a leak in the diaphragm or nor enough vacuum?

Points & condenser are available at most auto stores, NAPA for sure. Sometimes the counter person just doesn't know how look it up.

Maybe shoot just a little carb cleaner down the carb, also see how much the fuel pump is putting out, just in case? I know my EFI'd '89 Chevy still has fuel problems like this ...
