I've done the RPM calculations and it looks good on paper, but before I commit to this setup I'd like to hear from someone who's done this combination already, or something close. Are you happy with 1st gear acceleration AND performance in overdrive? Would you do anything different? What diameter tires? There's no substitute for real life. Thanks | | |

I put one in my 55 with 350 engine & 3.90 rear gears. I don,t know what the low gear ratio is but it,s like a granny gear. I usually start out in 2nd. O-drive is great. It cruises excellant at 70-75 mph. It,s a ball to drive.
