i have a 54 electric wiper on my truck it works ,but i want to get it rebuilt. does anyone know who rebuilds them ? please let me know thanks.

54 didn't come with electric wipers. It must be a conversion. I dought if anyone rebuilds those motors in our throwaway society. All the specialty suppliers have conversion kits for them

I believe electric wipers were an option by 54, but as bender sez, you wouldn't find anyone rebuilding such a scarce item .... and if it works why try to fix it?

Yes, a two-speed 6v wiper was an GM accessory in 1954/55. Two holes for mounting screws have to be drilled through the upper part of the dash. The two screw/bolt heads are on display - not a very "clean" installation.
