With all the different aftermarket steering columns is there one that is prefered due to quality, price or support?

Can't really comment much about pricing other than they all bite the billfold kinda hard. I can offer, from experience, a comment about support. I used a painted Ididit column in a 1930 Plymouth and after a couple years the shifter would move into another gear when the steering wheel was turned which is not good. I called Ididit and they said to send them the column for them to check it out. In less than a week it was back along with a check refunding my shipping it to them and a note that said it was an error on their part and if I sent them a labor bill or if the paint got scratched when installing they would take care of it. Needless to say I know Flaming River and others have very good products but with treatment like this every rod that goes through our shop will have an Ididit if a column is called for.

Mine is an Ididit, no shifter but tilts and turn signal. Great product came with perfect instructions even I could follow.

...hope you're no where near the Cumberland River right now.
I went to school in Memphis and have friends in McMinnville.

1 mile off of it. We have plenty of water down in the bottoms but luckily we built on top of a ridge! Could not get out of town yasterday due to road closures but made it to AL today (Travel with Work). We're lucky there's a lot of folks less fortunate. Thanks for asking.

When i did the update on my truck i was going to change the 69 impala column to a new one but the guy who was doing the work said why bother it would be the same and if i was not having problems don't waste the money and they are very expensive. i got mine 22 years ago for $20.00 from a guy at work who needed the money bad.
