Put a tee in the outlet to the oil pressure gauge & run a hose to the side of the filter. There is a plug down on the edge of the block near the oil pan in frnt of the exhaust pipe. Remove this plug & run the hose from the bottom of the filter to this drain hole. Be shure the hoses are good. Many engines have been ruined by these hoses breaking & loosing all the oil. Most specialty parts places have complete hose & fitting kits.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

Excellent picture. If you have an earlier 216 with the oil distribution valve you will "T" at the top of the valve where the rocker oil line connects.

I added a 3/16-inch ss line from the filter to the left side of mt 235 engine. I put in two clamps for rigidity. I also wrapped wire around the line where ever there is a bend to keep the line from kinking. See pics 31,32, and 33 on www.picturetrail.com/cjb40
