I bought what appears to be a 1951 Chevrolet dump truck with a 16,000 gvw. Since there was no paperwork with the truck (a problem I hope I can resolve because I really want to use this puppy on the road) I have no idea what model this thing is or year. I was wondering where the Vin for this thing is located. When I sent in for a title for an F-6 I had to show two locations for a vin number to the State Patrolman.

The truck its' self has the typical old truck issues like non functional brakes, leaky carb, and electrical system that doesn't work. Somewhere along the line someone did a 12 volt conversion with what looks to be a 60's era Motorola alternator. I hope to get some tinkering done on it this week since I have a bunch of rock from a foundation I need to haul back to the garbage pit in the back of the land.

I paid 500 bucks for it and saved it from the scrap yard. Normally I don't buy titleless vehicles but this thing just seemed too good to be scrapped.
