If it is cast iron & open at the bottom it is 55-72 1/2-1 ton. If it is larger than the normal bolt patern & has a bolt hole on top it is a large truck houseing & uses an adapter plate. If it aluminum it is 73 up.

By any chance would you know what clutch setup I would need for the conversion. The original setup on my 6 cyl is a diaphram pressure plate with a 11 inch disc. I plan on using an 11 inch setup with the sbc to match the flywheel I purchased with the cast iron bellhousing.
