I need to replace the exhaust from the manifold to tip of my 46 Chevy Stylemaster Sedan w/ 216 L6. I already ordered a Walker Quietflow muffler (1-7/8 Center Inlet/outlet), then realized all the piping was shot. I was wondering were I could get all the piping or would I have to have everything custom bent? I was already told by Monroe Muffler that they could not replace the whole thing because there is a "special" flange that mounts to the exhaust manifold and this is unavailable. I personally thought the piece of pipe that mounts to the manifold was just a flared pipe, but I guess its something special (not really)? Anyway, Kanter has the whole thing for $310, other than that do I have any options?

You can also try The Filling Station ( www.fillingstation.com) they have complete kits from 1916 to 87. I bought one for my 63 C20. There was an error the down pipe I got was for a 250 instead of my 292. It was corrected, but cost me the shipping of returning the down pipe. Larry

The shop made an insert that the donut fit into in this shot, Maybe you can find a local shop to make. However Kanter is good to do business with and sells a quality product. I found a place out of Ohio called Parks Pipes (937)678-7565 (they have a website too) They had a pattern and bent up the right pipes (with the donut retainer) and shipped to me in CT for a total of $118.60. I'm very happy with them.
