For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 41 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 41 | I tried to adjust my front brakes and found the adjusters were frozen.I decided to pull the drums instead of trying to work through the holes.Good thing cause the inner wheel bearings didnt have to much grease left.Anyway pulled the front brakes off, cleaned the backing plates and put some fresh lube on and reassembled the brakes. repacked the bearings, adjusted the brakes and also adjusted my steering box.I found out how to do this searching the old posts. When I test drove I could not beleave how different the truck stopped and steered. just like new

I've definately got this truck thing in my blood ... my DNA sequence has torque settings"Of all the small nations of this earth, perhaps only the ancient Greeks surpass the Scots in their contribution to mankind" Winston Churchill.
