my truck came with one of those sig-stat 900's in it. i have gone through and rewired almost the whole dang thing (thanks to stupid people that think all wire is the same-extension cords, lamp plugs, jumper cables ect.) im down to the turn signals, and im going to use the sigstat for a while. am i correct to understand that the sigstat uses some part of the rear dual filaments as the turn signal? i have given it stand alone turn signals in the rear, so i was thinking i can run front and rear turn signals off just the front wires (red and green), but if i do that do i just not connect the grey/black to the break switch, and just cap off the black, and the grey leads since i wont be using them either? i made a diagram here

the stupid thing wont up load right. i have a diagram if any one dosent understand what im trying to do and wants to look at it, i can e-mail or upload it somewhere else. stupid photobucket. lol

You can run the rear lights off the front if you have separate lights. You won't need a wire to the brake light switch. One of the wires goes to the pilot light in the switch. You need a 3 prong flasher for that. If you have indicators on the dash you won't need that. If you send me a diagram I will look it over tomorrow. [email protected]

cool, ill send it right now. i just cant afford to get the stupid 90 dollar piece to fix the original turn signal just yet, so i dont want to short it out.

Got the diagram. You have it correct. It should work that way. The pilot is a light in the turn switch that flashes when either turn light is on. In fact I think the 900 has one for each direction & one in the middle for 4 way's. If you want to use those you will probably have to change the bulbs to 6 volt.
