I'm looking at one but someone cut a walkout hole in the back of the cab and one in the roof. The roof has a wood framed glass pyramid skylight...(like wow man!) Question is this...will a regular cab fit in its place? I realize the front clip differences as well ad floor board, but are they interchangable otherwise? Wait to hear from Spanky, but my 54/55 COE cab is distinctly different from a regular cab.
Different floorboard, firewall, seat, and the fenders and hood bolt-up differently.

A cut can be made at each front windshield post,near the top & another at the loweer back floor section.The floor, & cowl areas of a COE, are different. you'll be using about 3/4 of the cab, minus the floor section, & cowl. It would not be too bad of a job to cut the coe at the windshield posts and the floor behind the door dogleg and glue the two of them together.
