For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 13 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 13 | According to a lot of the information I've read it says the 250 wasn't available in the trucks until 1966. However my 1965 has the 250. It was a special ordered fleet truck for the Saskatchewan Government and built in Canada so I don't know if this changes things.
I have Leo Santucci's book on modifying the 6-cylinders and it lists that the the 250 was available in trucks from 1962 and my block's casting number is consistent with being a 250.
Any thoughts?

When I pulled it a few years back I remember noticing that the numbers match.

How do I know so much about these trucks? I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
