Those fit into a groove top end of a valve stem. Keepers fit over those. This prevents rocker oil from draining directly down the valve stems. When oil pools around a valve stem, the up and down motion of the stem will draw oil into the valve guide then on down into an exhaust port or an intake port.

looks like alot of them are duplicates for other motors/years because i have already installed the water pump and such with the propper gasket.

Bingo! We have a winner. Short shaft water pump which mounts higher up than later model 235 pumps.

Walt would roll over in his grave if I disclosed where Snow White actually carries the thing, right next to her paper cash.

Not a fuel pump gasket, that fits between the oil pump and the pick-up tube base.

Highly likely. A rebuild shop would have a zillon of those sitting in a bin right at their head rebuild bench. I've been told some mechanics toss a small handful of those in with their Cheerios for breakfast; more chewy.

#11 is thick cardboard.
#5 there was a nice seal for the timing cover that i used from the kit. and i i have an exaust gasket as well that is not in the photo that came with the kit. although there seems to be different gaskets for different applications in this kit.
