#63434 07/24/2006 9:04 PM | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | Because a 6 cylinder normally stops in one of three positions the flywheel teeth will only be bad in three spots. If they are not to bad you can remove the ring and turn it one third of a revolution and reinstall it.
If you think it is beyond this, you can flip the ring around and use it from the other side. You may need to bevel the leading edge of each tooth if it was that way stock.

Wouldn't you have to rotate it one sixth of a revolution to make sure it didn't end up in one of the three bad spots? I kind of assume they would be one third of a crankshaft revolution apart.
