im wondering what is the best way to add power steering to a 65 c60 im thinking it was a power assist system in the day.Is there a box that will do the job or is it the ram? Would like to use a box if possible,i have heard the manual boxes dont change for a few years,early 70s?Anyhelp is appreciated thanks timbuk

Hy timbuk if my memory serves me correctly, the proper steering box for your truck sits on top of the frame, and yes it does control an assist ram. That basic system was used up to 72 I think. I don't know of an integral box that will bolt in the stock location, but someone else might, good luck in your search, and let us know what you find please.

Ihave this setup on a 1966 c-60 and the box is bolted to the side of frame and it does have a ram bolted to the axle

I can but will take a while i dont use the truck i bought it to fix up my 64 c-60 i wont be using the power steering if your intresred
