Hoping someone can help me out here. I have 15" 6-lug wheels (I think off a mid-60's 1/2-ton) and they have 4" backspacing. I'd like to find a couple to run on the front with less than that, say 3 1/2" or even 3".

Did Chevy use wheels with different backspacing?

Chevy did make 15"-6 lug wheels with different widths and offsets as I currently have at least 3 different ones now, all of them junk due to rust. I have no idea what they came off of though, sorry I can't be of more help with that.

check stockton wheels. I may have spelled their name wrong. I also, know of two other companies. They make Vintage style wheels and can make you a new set. I am using one of those vendors to make new artilary wheels for my suburban. IF they won't sale direct to you just let me know and I can order them for you.

The three companies I use can give you what ever you need for a off set. if stockton won't work just let me know

The artillery wheels that Stockton Wheel makes are (by most peoples description) a poor reproduction. Their quality is good,as theyve been in the business 40 years more or less.
But for the amount of work it took to tool up and stamp the centers,it seems that the new ones should really look like an old artillery wheel.
Especially with the $$$ theyre selling them for.
The old, orig hubcaps wont work on the repro. wheels.

Thanks for the responses. I found out since I posted this that Mazda and Toyota p.u. wheels use the same bolt pattern. Guess I'll get my tape measure and start scouring the wrecking yards.
