I have bought a truck that I bought from the origional owner in 1982.When I quit farming in 1984 I sold it to a friend. This man is deceased and I was able to repurchase it from his son. Long story short it is in pretty bad shape (body).I can buy the patch panels for the cab (same as the pickup)but I cannot find a source for the fenders or hood as these are longer than the pickup models. Please help if you can.Truck is a 1952 4400 ton/half .This forum is a blessing to the old trucks/owners.

Many thanks,
jmh

Put a parts wanted ad in the swap meet and you are likely to have the stuff you need offered to you. It won't be new, but likely will be better than what you have.

It's true. I really don't do anything but browse the Internet looking for trouble...

Just wondering if you found anything-I've got a complete nose. Up in MA but head to SC (McClellanville) frequently.

If you use the following link:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/imakatzenjammer/collections/72157624205222423/

Check out the truck on back of my 49 GMC 450. I have not pulled it off the back end yet, so I do not have better pictures.

I have been too busy bringing others home and still trying to earn my pay check at my real job.

I'm a long way from you, but easy to get to.
