Hello all.

Just beginning to start a 1953 Suburban restore ... will post pictures soon. She needs a bit of work, mostly interior (she runs, but currently the clutch is stuck).

New to suburbans, not new to restores. Who carries new and used suburban parts and accessories, in addition to Jim Carter, that you all would recommend?

Also, can anyone send me interior shots of your suburbans? I am trying to figure out how to restore the interior side walls, door, floors, dash (closest to original) .... paint metal, vinyl, cloth, wood?

You will find the 1953 Suburban interior colors in this Tech-Tip - two shades of brown.

Jim Carter sells spanish grain vinyl brown seat covers that I think was used in 1953. JC also sells (as you most likely know) the suburban headliner and rear panels.

Info. on the interiors does seem hard to find, so I started working on the linoleum myself.
So it's my $.02 to help you with info. on one part...and a shameles plug, yes.
