It is a 3 spd column shift, 235 engine. Are there any model and/or I.D. specifics on this trans? Are there any issues I should be aware of when rebuilding it? thanks

You probably have a SM318 which is a relatively simple transmission to work on. Usually the synchro and the shift leavers wear first and that causes them to jump out of hi gear. I think parts are available.
