Can the solid tickitty ticking lifters in my Big GMC V-6 be replaced with Hydrolic lifters ? . . .

The yearly adjustment's, constant ticking dose get to ya after several 9-12 hour days in a row . . .

Truck run's 58-62 psi oil pressure so it has the oiling ability to pressurize them ?

Mike:
You need to check with the folks on the GMC site at
http://www.6066gmcguy.org/

I believe you will have to have your cam reground in order to use hydraulic lifters, but the folks over there can tell you defintively. Have you tried adjusting what you have to eliminate the ticking to no avail?
