What's the best way to construct a kit that will service the truck and where should it be stored?Thanks

A modern cross lug wrench will do and fit under the seat, and although a bottle jack will fit under the seat, you will probally need a small piece of 4x4, BUT I DON'T trust bottle jacks.

Check all your lugs and make sure they are the same size, I had that problem use to drive me nuts.
